Winter '11 - '12
Open Mic Nights every Friday from 7-9PM. Bring your musical performance or MP3 for karaoke; jokes, raps, rants, dances or poetry welcome as well! Sign up (or just drop by) for your 10 minute time slot beginning at 7PM. When we run out of stage acts, karaoke/dance party closes the night.
Pool & Table Games Tournaments on Saturdays, starting at 2:30. These are “pick up” tourneys – when 6 or more show up ready to play, game on! Play free for bragging rights (and Ave A hall of fame), or take part in a fundraiser tournament and go for the prize!
Lights, Cameras, Action! The Audio / Video Crew meets on Thursdays and learns professional music and video production skills. Yeah, we're making movies! Current projects include Music Videos, Robotics Competition, and Antrim War Veterans. Your own ideas are always encouraged. You need to SIGN UP to join the A/V crew, get details at Ave A or on our website.
You can also SIGN UP for any of the following activities: photography, model rocketry, longboard construction, audio/video crew, dance/workout, woodworking... do you have a suggestion for a NEW program or activity?
